Obama says Ellen's Oscar selfie was a 'cheap stunt'
HE’S KNOWN FOR getting down with the kids and making waves by being generally hip to the presidential groove so it’s no surprise to hear that Barack Obama isn’t happy with Ellen DeGeneres stealing his Twitter thunder.
The President of the United States appeared on the Oscar host’s show yesterday and revealed his feelings about her infamous selfie.
Ellen told Obama that she’d be aiming to surpass his number of retweets and apologised for doing so, before having a little gloat by flashing the famous picture.
“I heard about that”, Obama replied.
O-BURN.
The pair had a good laugh about their online rivalry but we know they’re both just biding their time before trading blows again on the world wide web.
